What Slick Dice is built for

Slick Dice Tools is a free browser toolkit for tabletop players, board game nights, classroom probability examples, and quick decisions. The site focuses on tools that people actually use at the table: visible dice totals, repeatable RPG notation, clean coin flips, random number ranges, and plain-English odds.

The tools run in your browser and do not require an account. Short histories stay local to the current device so a game master can keep recent results nearby without sending roll data to a server.

Fair play notes

Random results are generated client-side with browser randomness. For casual games, that keeps rolls fast and private. For regulated contests, use the official randomization rules required by the event.

When to use it

Use the standard dice roller for quick d6 totals, the RPG roller for notation like 2d20+5, and the probability calculator when a player wants to understand how risky a roll really is.

No login wall

The site is intentionally lightweight. Open a tool, set the values, roll or calculate, and keep playing. There are no downloads, user profiles, or paywalls.

Helpful examples

The tools include common tabletop defaults such as d20 checks, 2d6 totals, custom coin sides, and common probability examples so new players can understand the result without memorizing dice math.
