Notation basics
The number before d is the dice count, the number after d is the sides per die, and the final plus or minus value is the modifier. For example, 2d6+3 rolls two six-sided dice and adds three.

Recent rolls will persist here after you roll.
A natural 20 on a single d20 triggers the gold Critical Hit treatment.
A natural 1 on a single d20 triggers the red Critical Fail treatment.
Other strong rolls get a cyan high-roll glow.
Player notes
The RPG roller handles common tabletop notation such as 1d20, 2d20+5, 4d6, and 1d100. It is built for game masters and players who need a quick roll, a visible total, and a short list of recent results.
The number before d is the dice count, the number after d is the sides per die, and the final plus or minus value is the modifier. For example, 2d6+3 rolls two six-sided dice and adds three.
A natural 20 on a single d20 is highlighted as a critical hit, while a natural 1 is highlighted as a critical fail. Other high totals get a separate high-roll treatment.
Recent rolls help a table confirm the last few checks without slowing the game down. They are saved in local browser storage rather than a shared public database.
